Rada to consider bill on 2017 state budget on Thursday
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider in the first reading on Thursday a bill on the national budget for 2017, parliamentary speaker Andriy Parubiy said.
"Under the Verkhovna Rada's regulations, we will consider the bill on state budget of Ukraine for 2017 no later than October 20, that is, this Thursday," Parubiy said opening a meeting of the conciliatory council of parliamentary factions, groups and committees on Monday.
The government's bill No. 5000 on Ukraine's 2017 national budget was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada on September 21, 2017.
The bill should pass three readings. Parliament should consider the document in the first reading no later than on October 20, in the second reading by November 25.
Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman hopes the Verkhovna Rada until December 1 will manage to pass changes to the draft law on the national budget for 2017 and it will be adopted on time.
