The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has confirmed the death of militant Arseniy Pavlov, also known as Motorola.
"I can confirm the report circulated currently in the media about the killing of Arseny Pavlov. I can confirm the information that the man, who committed crimes against Ukraine's territorial integrity and and was on a wanted list, has been killed in a residential building in Donetsk today," he said.
The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic reported earlier Motorola died in an explosion in an elevator on his way home on October 16. They immediately said Ukrainian a reconnaissance-and-sabotage group was behind the killing.
