Kyiv says Normandy Four Summit must be substantive, date or place irrelevant
The Ukrainian side maintains there must be a substantive component to the next meeting of the Normandy Four leaders, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Presidential Administration Kostiantyn Yeliseyev has said.
"The key factor for us isn’t the date and place of the 'Normandy format' meeting, but the substantive content of the summit, taking into account the interests of the Ukrainian side, in particular, on implementing Russia’s security obligations pursuant to the Minsk agreements," Yeliseyev told Interfax-Ukraine, commenting the proposal of the French side to hold a meeting of Normandy Four in Paris on October 19.
