Venice Commission president promises Groysman to help in review of reformatory laws
Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and President of the Venice Commission Gianni Buquicchio have discussed the reform of power decentralization and the judicial reform in Ukraine.
According to the press service of the Ukrainian government, Groysman told Buquicchio Ukraine has established effective mechanisms to combat corruption.
"Today all the instruments of fight against corruption, including legislative, institutional, have been actually formed," he said.
He stressed the judicial system reform "will make it possible to close the circuit of inevitability of punishment, including for corruption manifestations."
Speaking about the decentralization reform, Groysman noted the process of uniting communities is gaining pace.
Buquicchio, in turn, praised the changes in Ukraine and assured the commission is ready to continue supporting the country on the path of reforms.
