Venice Commission head to arrive in Kyiv on 20th anniversary of Constitutional Court of Ukraine
Kyiv on October 7-8 will host an international conference entitled "Constitutional control and processes of democratic transformation in contemporary society." President of the European Commission "For Democracy through Law" (Venice Commission) Gianni Buquicchio will take part.
The press service of the Constitutional Court said on its website on Tuesday, that the Forum on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine will bring together, except for the president of the Venice Commission, representatives of the Council of Europe, European Union, OSCE, judges of the European Court of Human Rights, constitutional courts of two dozen of countries.
The Ukrainian part of the conference will include representatives of state and judicial authorities, parliamentarians and experts.
