Rada likely to support visa travel regime with Russia
The Ukrainian parliament will support a visa travel regime between Ukraine and Russia, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy said.
"There are grounds for an affirmative vote [...]. There are grounds for a majority in the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada," Parubiy said in a Svoboda Slova program aired by the ICTV channel on Monday.
The speaker said he would hold consultations with the leaders of parliament factions and the Verkhovna Rada might consider a draft resolution introducing a visa travel regime with Russia on Thursday, October 6.
