Poroshenko calls for financial support to create Holocaust Memorial in Babyn Yar

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has called on the Ukrainian and world community to financially support the creation of the Holocaust Memorial in Babyn Yar in Kyiv.

"I urge the Ukrainian and world community to join this initiative," he said during the presentation of the film about the tragedy in Babyn Yar.

According to him, the creation of the memorial will be part of the efforts of the mankind to study the historical truth and fight against speculation about the history of the tragedy.
