Cabinet intends to introduce district police officers before 2017

The Cabinet of Ministers intends to introduce the post of district police officer by the end of 2016.

According to decree No. 688 dated September 22 the posts of district police officers are scheduled to be integrated in merged territorial communities.

The government also intends to develop a draft law before 2017 on delegating grants of authority to local authorities for providing some administrative registration services at administrative service centers, as well as acts of civil status in cities with regional status. .

These measures are provided by the plan on implementing the concept of reforming local self-government and the territorial organization of authorities in Ukraine.
