Headquarters: Seventh mobilization wave not planned in Ukraine
The seventh wave of mobilization is not planned in Ukraine, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Volodymyr Talalay said.
"This information has nothing to do with reality. We plan to substitute the ranks of those who are dismissed by the presidential decree at the expense of those who do military service under the contract. Now we have about 6,000 of contract soldiers every month. We expect from 15,000 to 18,000 of contract soldiers more until the end of the year. This will meet our needs," Talalay said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
Talalay said that "the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine doesn’t plan the seventh wave of mobilization."
