Ukraine starts preparation for separation of forces in Donbas

Preparations for separating the forces and equipment of Ukraine and the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk republics start on Thursday, September 22, in three areas along the dividing line in Donbas, as stipulated in the framework agreement of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG), Ukraine's representative in the TCG security subgroup, Yevhen Marchuk, said.

"It is clear that the main goal is to begin the removal along the entire line. The work is beginning already today in three areas," he said at a briefing in the corridors of parliament on Thursday afternoon.
