NATO Secretary General supports Ukraine's position on sanctions against Russia
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has held talks with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the presidential press service has said.
"The president informed Stoltenberg about the situation in Donbas. The head of state stressed that sanctions against Russia should be continued until the complete fulfillment of the Minsk agreements," a statement reads.
Jens Stoltenberg confirmed NATO supports Ukraine's position on sanctions against Russia.
The parties discussed the further reform of the Ukrainian defense sector to achieve NATO standards.
Poroshenko thanked the alliance for assisting in the treatment of Ukrainian soldiers.
