Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has met with President of the Slovak Republic Andrej Kiska, the press service of the Ukrainian president has said.
"Andrej Kiska confirmed the firmness of Slovakia's position to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and noted the continued support for continuation of the policy of sanctions against Russia," a statement reads.
The president of Slovakia, as the country presiding at the EU Council, also assured the Ukrainian counterpart of Bratislava's active position in the matter of providing a visa-free regime to Ukrainian citizens.
