U.S. and European instructors start training Ukrainian marines in Mykolaiv

A course of exercises for Ukrainian marines which is conducted by military instructors from the U.S. and Europe has started in Mykolaiv, the official website of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday.

"The course will last two weeks, during which Ukrainian military will learn about the role and responsibilities of non-commissioned officers of the Marine Corps," the statement reads.

The training is carried out with the assistance of the U.S. Office of Defense Cooperation, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said.
