Ukrtransgaz head could be fired after returning control over company - Naftogaz chief
It is likely that President of public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz Ihor Prokopiv will be fired from the post after Naftogaz Ukrainy returns control over the enterprise, Naftogaz Head Andriy Kobolev has said.
"Now due to the conflict with the Economic Development and Trade Ministry we see the unpleasant situation when Prokopiv can no longer hold this post," he said in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda publication.
"We have a supervisory board. It is likely that the issue would be discussed by its ethics committee that will asses the situation and the role of Prokopiv. I think that after return of Ukrtransgaz to Naftogaz he will be asked to sign a resignation letter," he said.
Kobolev said that Prokopiv showed himself as effective manager when he worked in Ukrtransgaz, but his latest step is dubious.
