French foreign minister expects signing of agreement on beginning of separation of sides in Donbas next week
The agreement on separation of forces in three pilot zones in Donbas should be signed next week, French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said.
"Returning to security issues, I would like to say that an important milestone, which may simultaneously give us consolidation of these achievements and a certain hope for that aforementioned top-level summit, will take place next week. It is signing and beginning of implementation of the agreement on separation of forces in three pilot zones," he said at a joint press conference with the foreign ministers of Ukraine and Germany in Kyiv on Wednesday.
He said that he will not mention all specific details of the agreement, but noted: "We expect and hope that all sides will make all possible efforts resulting in the implementation of the security elements."
