Contact Group calls on conflicting parties in Donbas to observe ceasefire
The Trilateral Contact Group met via Skype, together with representatives of some areas in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, on Tuesday to call for observance of the ceasefire regime in Donbas, Darka Olifer, spokesperson for Kyiv's envoy to the Contact Group, Ukraine's second President Leonid Kuchma, said.
"The Trilateral Contact Group called for observance of the ceasefire regime," she wrote on her Facebook account.
Olifer went on to reveal that OSCE Special Monitoring Mission chief monitor Ambassador Ertugrul Apakan, OSCE coordinator in the Contact Group security working subgroup, read his report to everyone at the meeting, as did the Joint Center for Control and Coordination officers.
The next Trilateral Contact Group meeting is due to be held in Minsk on September 21, Olifer said.
