PGO awaiting official confirmation of Kaskiv's detention in Panama

The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine (PGO) has stated former head of the State Agency for Investment and National Projects Management Vladyslav Kaskiv had been detained in Panama, but is currently waiting for official confirmation of the fact of detention.

"As a result of a successful special operation he was arrested last night," Deputy Prosecutor General Yevhen Yenin said at a briefing in Kyiv.

"At the moment we are waiting for the official confirmation of Kaskiv's detention, as well as the circumstances of the operation," he said.

According to the official, the PGO is in constant contact with the Panamanian authorities, which, according to Yenin, have no caveats on the extradition of Kaskiv to Ukraine.
