Russia constantly increasing military presence, threat of aggression high
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has stated a high level of threat of Russia's military aggression from the south remains.
"Our border with Russia is the longest one in Europe. Some 2,000 km only on land. Russia is constantly increasing military presence and plays the muscles in the western and south-western strategic sectors. A high level of threat of armed aggression from the south remains," Poroshenko said in his annual address to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in Kyiv on Tuesday.
He added that, unfortunately, there is no progress in the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
