About $1.52 bln required for 'Restoration of Peace in Donbas' program
The EU, the UN and the World Bank have estimated funding required for implementing the "Restoration of Peace in the East" program at $1.52 billion, the Ukrainian minister for the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons, Vadym Chernysh, has said.
He said in an interview with the Dzerkalo Tyzhnia. Ukraine weekly the Cabinet of Ministers plans in the near future to make decision on setting up a council that will coordinate the implementation of the "Restoration of Peace in Donbas" program.
"Two government resolutions directly related to the state program as one of the components of the mechanisms that should be implemented are almost ready. This is the creation of the corresponding council under the government headed by the deputy prime minister with the participation of all the central authorities and representatives of regional and local authorities," he added.
