International donors to fund state program for restoring Donbas
Deputy Prime Minister for the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons Heorhiy Tuka has said that the main source of financing the for the government's "Restoration and Development of Peace in Ukraine's Eastern Regions" program will come from international donors.
"International support is the main source of funding. We are adult people. We understand that it would be difficult to cope with this issue on our own in such a difficult economic situation," Tuka told Espresso TV channel.
He said the program, which was approved by the Cabinet on August 31, does not provide for full restoration of trade with the occupied territories of Donbas.
