Ukraine-Canada free trade agreement could be ratified by end of 2016
Ukrainian and Canadian parliaments could ratify the Ukraine-Canada free trade agreement by the end of this year, Ukrainian Ambassador to Canada Andriy Shevchenko has said.
"I think that we are able to ratify the free trade agreement in 2016 and quickly move to its implementation and bylaws not to leave the agreement only on paper and make it working," the ambassador said at a press club in Kyiv on Monday.
Shevchenko said that there are arrangements with the Ukrainian parliament at the level of Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy and the Canadian parliament at the level of the Canada-Ukraine Friendship Group that the document is quickly ratified.
