West supports Ukraine in defending territorial integrity, sovereignty – Poroshenko
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said he had received assurances from the United States and European Union leaders that they remain committed to supporting Kyiv in defending Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
"During intensive consultations that I have just conducted with the leadership of the U.S. and the European Union, Germany and France, I have received firm assurances of support of Ukraine in its liberation struggle for its own independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity," Poroshenko said during a visit to Lviv region on Thursday.
