Ukrainian Intelligence: Russian troops plotting provocation against own position in Donbas for LifeNews
Russian troops in the zone of responsibility of 7th Independent Motorized Rifle Brigade (Debaltseve) of the 2nd Army Corp of the armed forces of the Russian Federation (Luhansk) on Saturday plan to blow up one of their positions to accuse Ukrainian Armed Forces in violating Minsk Agreements, the Main Directorate of Defense Intelligence has reported.
"On August 12, in the zone of responsibility of 7th Independent Motorized Rifle Brigade (Debaltseve) of the 2nd Army Corp of the armed forces of the Russian Federation (Luhansk) preparations for blowing up one of own frontline positions near Nyzhne Lozove were finished. They plan to blow up the position on August 13 in the presence of correspondents of Russian LifeNews TV as evidence of groundless use of large caliber artillery by the ATO forces," Defense Intelligence wrote on its Facebook page on Saturday.
