Poland's president to visit Ukraine on Independence Day
Poland's President Andrzej Duda is to visit Kyiv on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, he plans to deliver a joint declaration with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Radio Poland's Ukrainian service reported with reference to Poland's Secretary of State Krzysztof Szczerski.
"On August 24, Andrzej Duda will attend the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Ukraine's independence in Kyiv. On this occasion, there will be a joint political declaration of the Polish and Ukrainian presidents. The declaration will highlight Ukraine's independence and Poland's contribution to it," the report said.
What is more, Poland's president will address Ukrainian ambassadors in Kyiv on the same day.
