Ukrainian National Police, National Guard block sacred procession along Kyiv's streets

The forces of the Ukrainian National Police and the Ukrainian National Guard have blocked the passage of the sacred procession along the streets of Kyiv due to the discovery of ball grenades and hoax mines, Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has said.

"The hoax mines and actual caches with grenades discovered in the morning made it clear for us that the threats and provocations are real. The Ukrainian Interior Ministry has blocked the passage of the sacred procession by the efforts of the National Police and the National Guard. The safety of citizens is more superior to religious rituals," Avakov said on Facebook on Tuesday.
