Groysman, Oettinger agree to set up ad hoc group on Ukraine's accession to EU digital community
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society Gunther Oettinger have agreed to establish a working group to develop an action plan for Ukraine's accession to the European Union digital community.
"We've agreed to create a joint working group, which will develop a common action plan, assess the requirements with respect to Ukraine's accession to the European Union digital community," Groysman said at the forum on digital economy in Kyiv.
The prime minister said he was confident in Ukraine's ability to hold a leading position in the digital economy.
In addition, according to Groysman, Ukraine's transition to e-government will allow promoting the development of the national economy.
