All border crossing points with Poland working normally
All checkpoints on the state border between Ukraine and Poland are working as normal, Assistant to the Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Oleh Slobodian has said.
He said to resolve tension after the temporary suspension by Poland of local border traffic, interagency headquarters were created at the initiative of the State Border Service, which included the border agency, the Fiscal Service, the national police, the State Security Service and local authorities.
"During painstaking outreach law enforcement agencies managed to find understanding with the protesters and, as a result of the agreements achieved, gradually unblocked checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border. Now all the checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border are operating as normal, there is no significant accumulation of vehicles there, except for the Yahodyn and Krakovets checkpoints," he said.
