Kerry to meet Poroshenko, Groysman, Parubiy in Kyiv pending Warsaw NATO summit
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is visiting Kyiv on Thursday, July 7, to meet the country's leadership.
Poroshenko and Kerry are also scheduled to meet with the press, an announcement on the Ukrainian president's website reads.
Kerry is also to meet with Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy.
A meeting with Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin is also on the U.S. senior official's agenda.
As was reported by the U.S. Department of State, Kerry and the Ukrainian leaders will discuss progress in conducting reforms in Ukraine, the Minsk Implementation Plan on Donbas, and other issues.
After Kyiv, Kerry is leaving for Warsaw, Poland, where he is to attend the NATO summit. On July 8, he will be accompanying U.S. President Barack Obama, who will also be present at the summit.
