Contact Group to consider creating subgroup for restoring Kyiv's control over Ukrainian-Russian border
Members of the Trilateral Group will meet on July 13 to discuss Ukraine's initiative to set up a subgroup that will oversee restoration of Kyiv's control over the Ukrainian-Russian border, according to Darka Olifer, spokeswoman for Leonid Kuchma who represents Ukraine in the Group.
"The political subgroup has been working with difficulty. At Ukraine's initiative, at their next meeting scheduled for July 13 members of the Trilateral Contact Group are due to discuss the creation of a subgroup for restoring Kyiv's control over the Ukrainian-Russian state border," Olifer wrote on her Facebook page after the Trilateral Contact Group meeting on Wednesday.
