Hollande announces preparations for next Normandy format meeting for Ukraine
The next meeting is being prepared in the 'Normandy format' (Ukraine, France, Germany and Russia), French President Francois Hollande said.
"We are preparing another meeting in the Normandy format for stepping up progress and continuing the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements," Hollande said at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Paris on Tuesday.
'Normandy format' negotiations have yielded results, including the Minsk agreements, the French president said.
He insisted on the complete fulfillment of the Minsk deal.
"All conditions and stages of this process have yet to be accomplished, including election laws, elections in eastern Ukraine, release of hostages and border control to be regained by Ukraine," Hollande said.
