Afanasyev, Soloshenko arrive in Kyiv, being transported to hospital

A motorcade carrying Ukrainian citizens Hennadiy Afanasyev and Yuriy Soloshenko, who were released from prison in Russia earlier on Tuesday, is on its way to Kyiv from the military section of the Boryspil airport, the 112.Ukraine television channel reported on Tuesday.

A medical van apparently carrying Soloshenko and Afanasyev, escorted by several vehicles, came out of the airport's gates and proceeded to Kyiv.

The Ukrainian presidential website had reported earlier in the day that, immediately after arriving in Kyiv, Afanasyev and Soloshenko would be brought to the scientific and practical medical center belonging to the state affairs department, where President Petro Poroshenko should meet them.
