Vatican Secretary of State to visit Ukraine on June 15-20
Secretary of State of the Vatican Cardinal Pietro Parolin is to visit five Ukrainian cities from June 15 through June 20, 2016.
Radio Vatican German service reported that the Secretary of State of the Vatican wants to pass Pope's solidarity with war-hit persons in Ukraine irrespective of their religion and origin. Parolin will visit Kyiv and Zaporizhia.
Before the secretary's visit to Ukraine, Pope Francis founded an ad hoc committee for distributing donations for Ukraine suffered from hostilities in Donbas.
Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kharkiv-Zaporizhia Jan Sobilo will head the committee.
