Constitutional Commission to prepare amendments to basic law on Crimean Tatar autonomy – Poroshenko
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko intends to entrust the Constitutional Commission together with representatives of the Crimean Tatar people to develop amendments to the fundamental law of Ukraine concerning the autonomy of the Crimean Tatars.
"The pattern will be the same as with all the changes to the Constitution, which I'm going to prepare. There will be a transfer to the Constitutional Commission, including representatives of the Crimean Tatars into the commission, careful examination, discussion, signing and transfer to the Verkhovna Rada," Poroshenko said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday.
