Court confirms legality of removing immunity, permits arrest of MP Kliuyev
The Chamber of Administrative Cases of the Supreme Court of Ukraine has confirmed the decision of the Higher Administrative Court, which dismissed a claim of People's Deputy Serhiy Kliuyev regarding removing his immunity and permitted his prosecution and arrest.
"With regard to Kliuyev, the Supreme Court of Ukraine made the decision and it will agree with the decision of the Higher Administrative Court, which dismissed MP Kliuyev's claim," Chief Justice Yaroslav Romaniuk said at a briefing in Kyiv.
According to him, in case with MP Serhiy Kliuyev the parliament did not violate the proper procedure.
