Seventeen people killed in fire in care home in Kyiv region
Seventeen people were killed in a fire in a care home in the Kyiv region where 36 seniors lived, Mykola Chechotkin, the head of the Ukrainian State Emergency Situations Service, told a briefing on Sunday morning.
The care home, where a fire broke out in the early hours of Sunday, is located in the village of Lytochky, Brovary district.
According to Chechotkin, two victims are in serious condition.
