Savchenko lawyers decline to say if she asked to be pardoned
The defense lawyers for Ukrainian pilot and MP Nadia Savchenko are not commenting on the issue of whether she asked to be pardoned.
"I can't comment on that. Let Nadia say this herself," lawyer Mark Feygin told Interfax on Wednesday.
Russian presidential press officer Dmitry Peskov said earlier on Wednesday the relatives of the killed journalists had asked for Savchenko to be pardoned.
