Request for transferring Savchenko to Ukraine submitted to Russian Justice Ministry, no requests received from Yerofeyev, Alexandrov
Documents regarding the transfer of Ukrainian citizen Nadia Savchenko to Ukraine are undergoing a standard processing procedure at the Russian Justice Ministry, Justice Minister Alexander Konovalov told reporters in St. Petersburg on Wednesday.
"The package of documents regarding Savchenko's transfer to Ukraine has been received by the Justice Ministry from the Federal Penitentiary Service; it is undergoing a standard processing procedure. Additional documents are being collected; the events are following their due course," Konovalov said.
"There have been no requests from Yerofeyev and Alexandrov," he said.
