Jamala's participation in Eurovision 2016 cost over UAH 3.1 mln
Ukrainian singer Jamala's participation in the Eurovision 2016 song contest in Stockholm cost UAH 3.123 million, the singer's producer, Ihor Tarnopolsky, has said.
"The budget of the trip to Eurovision was UAH 3.123 million (the current exchange rate is UAH 4.25per $1), of which UAH 1.8 were provided by the STB TV Channel. This was an act of good will. The rest of the expenses were covered by people who wished to remain unknown, but this was very timely, much needed and helped us to make it," Tarnopolsky said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
According to him, Jamala's team in Stockholm consisted of 17 people.
