Kyiv: Militants operations intensify at dusk

Militants resumed intense shelling of Ukrainian army positions at dusk on Tuesday, the anti-terrorist operation staff's press center has said.

"In all, pro-Russian unlawful armed formations breached the full truce agreement six times over the past day," the staff's press service wrote on Facebook on Wednesday morning.

According to the report, Ukrainian army strongholds came under attack of small arms and various kinds of grenade launchers near Zaitseve, Luhanske and Avdiyivka in the Donetsk sector. The positions near Avdiyivka were also attacked by infantry combat vehicles.

In the Mariupol sector, militants fired grenade launchers and small arms on Ukrainian army positions near Hnutove. Besides, a militant sniper was active.

Drones performed two reconnaissance missions in the Donbas airspace.

On Wednesday, militants fired small arms and grenade launchers on Ukrainian army positions near Novotroitske and Luhanske.
