Poroshenko, Nuland did not discuss concrete dates for Donbas elections - Poroshenko's administration
The Ukrainian presidential administration has said that President Petro Poroshenko and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland did not discuss any concrete dates for holding the local elections in Donbas at their meeting.
"I would like to stress with conviction that no concrete dates for holding the local elections in Donbas were discussed during the meeting of Ukraine's president and Nuland. By the way, it was Nuland herself who spoke about the absence of any deadline for holding the elections in Donbas during her press conference following her visit to Ukraine. U.S. Department of State spokesman Mark Toner also said this," Ukrainian presidential administration deputy chief Kostiantyn Yeliseyev said.
The United States is not linking financial and economic aid for Ukraine with the implementation of the Minsk agreements, he said.
