Peskov commenting on reports on Yanukovych's, Azarov's Russian citizenship: I don't think Transparency International has such info
Russian President Dmitry Peskov has refrained from commenting on the media reports that there are numerous facts indicating that Ukraine's former president Viktor Yanukovych and Ukraine's former prime minister Mykola Azarov could have received Russian citizenship.
"I can't [comment]. I don't think Transparency International issues Russian citizenship and has information on this matter," Peskov told reporters on Friday.
Transparency International previously released a report stating that many facts indicate that Yanukovych and Azarov have been granted Russian citizenship and now enjoy state protection.
