Kyiv's request to deploy international police force in Donbas under discussion – Nuland

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland has said Kyiv's request to deploy an international police force that could monitor the elections in the conflict region is still under discussion.

According to her, OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) doesn't always tackle with its tasks, so extra measures remain on agenda to ensure appropriate security conditions for Donbas residents during the voting.
