Poroshenko says agreed with Putin on preliminary timeframe of Savchenko's return
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that during the recent telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding Nadia Savchenko's future a preliminary timeframe of her return to the homeland has been agreed upon.
"For the first time, during this conversation, we have gotten the light at the end of tunnel. As it has been agreed on the algorithm to settle this problem, agreed on a preliminary timeframe, and I spoke about this timeframe to mother (of N. Savchenko) and sister, and those my representatives, who deal with the coordination of these actions," he said in an interview with the Ukrainian television channels on Sunday evening.
