Normandy Format' foreign chiefs discuss possible meeting in May – Klimkin
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has said that the foreign minister of "Normandy Format" countries (Germany, France, Ukraine and Russia) are discussing the possibility of holding a meeting in May.
"We are discussing the possibility of a meeting in May to address principal security issues," Klimkin told Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.
According to the minister, the possibility of the meeting is still under discussion. Therefore, it is too early to speak about a specific date.
Klimkin has noted that one of the main issues at the meeting will be Kyiv's initiative to deploy the OSCE (police) mission in Donbas. In addition, the general security situation in the region, as well as the concept of the electoral process should be discussed at this meeting, the minister said.
