Lavrov: OSCE mission could be more objective about weapons amassment near Donbas contact line
Moscow is expecting the OSCE to be more specific and objective about the amassment of weapons along the line of contact between the conflicting sides in Donbas.
"Alexander Hug, whose work we respect, has tried to make statements which we deem to be not quite objective," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a press conference on Monday.
"In fact, we think that the OSCE mission could be more specific, especially about the amassment of weapons and troops near the contact line," Lavrov said.
"There is multiple evidence that Ukraine has been provoking clashes in order to resume the hostilities on what they hope to be a controllable scale as a way to distract attention from the authorities' inability to meet the Minsk agreements," Lavrov said.
