Ukraine convicts eight Russians since anti-terror operation unfolded
Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Chief Vasyl Hrytsak has said that courts have received bills of indictment over 32 citizens of Russia due to Donbas events, and eight Russian have already been convicted.
"Since the anti-terrorist operation unfolded, the bills of indictment against 851 persons have been sent to court, of whom 32 are citizens of Russian Federation. Two hundred and sixty-eight person have already been convicted, of whom 8 are citizens of Russia," Hrytsak said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
Ukrainian servicemen started the anti-terrorist operation in the north of Donetsk region late on April 15, 2014 to prevent new threats to territorial integrity of Ukraine.
