Weather equipment serviceable in Rostov airport where FlyDubai Boeing crashed
Weather monitoring systems of the Rostov airfield where the FlyDubai plane crashed were serviceable at the moment of the crash, says a report published on the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) website on Friday.
"The weather equipment used for monitoring weather parameters at the Rostov airfield has been checked; it is intact and serviceable," the report said.
What is more, weather support to the Boeing's approach complied with the normative documents and guidelines.
"An analysis of weather information showed that the actual weather in the Rostov-on-Don airfield zone matched the weather forecast at the moment of the crash," it said.
