Japan to allocate extra $13.6 mln to restore Donbas infrastructure

Japan will provide $13.6 million in humanitarian assistance for the recovery of Donbas, Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko has said.

"We are grateful for today's decision by the Japanese side to provide a new tranche of humanitarian aid worth $13.6 million for the restoration of Ukraine's eastern regions," the Ukrainian president said in a press statement after meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
