Peskov: Russian president has not decided on Savchenko's possible exchange as of yet
Consultations with the Ukrainian administration on the possible exchange of convict Nadia Savchenko have not been planned for now, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
He reminded the press that the sentence handed down to Savchenko took effect on Tuesday and her exchange was now up to the head of state. Peskov was asked whether the Russian president had made a decision.
"No. Not as of yet," Peskov said.
He was also asked whether consultations about the exchange were planned with the Ukrainian administration in the near future.
"No, there are no such plans as of today," Peskov said.
