Dutch parliament on April 7 to give feedback on Ukraine-EU referendum – Tombinski
Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Jan Tombinski has said he hopes for a positive outcome of the Dutch referendum on Ukraine-EU Association, adding that he also expects a feedback from the Dutch parliament on April 7 over the referendum's outcome.
Speaking with the journalists in Kyiv on Tuesday, the ambassador said 27 European states have already ratified Association Agreement with Ukraine, and now the last step towards the ratification in the Netherlands is left.
"The Dutch parliament will provide a feedback on the outcome of this referendum on Thursday. First of all, we need to listen to the stance of the Dutch parliament," Tombinski said.
As reported, the Dutch parliament has completed the ratification of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement in July last year. The Netherlands will hold the advisory referendum on the agreement on April 6.
